Flora Starkey is a bespoke floral designer based in central London.
Working from her studio, Flora creates arrangements for events including parties, weddings, fashion shows and photo shoots. Taking inspiration from many sources including the work of the Dutch Masters and Renaissance artists, Victorian flower photographs and the English country garden, her displays are both romantic and sumptuous. Focussing on seasonality, Flora will often use flowers and foliage she has grown herself.
Her arrangements have been displayed in many prestigious venues including St Paul's Cathedral, The Royal festival Hall, Abbey Road Studios, the V&A, Tate Britain and and have dressed the entrance of Chelsea Flower Show in honour of the Queen's 90th birthday. Flora has worked with photographers including Tim Walker, Mario Testino, Nick Knight and Paolo Roversi on shoots that have been featured in numerous publications, including British Vogue, Vanity Fair, AnOther Magazine, and V Magazine. She has most recently worked with Florence + The Machine on their album artwork and stage design, and created a film; "Spring Rites" which shows the beauty & magic of flowers in timelapse. The film was broadcast in St Christopher's Place over the Spring Equinox this year.

"She works with flowers as a Renaissance painter would work with oils." Vogue
"The abundance and colour of her arrangements is always infused with a haunting sense of melancholy. Her displays of rare and uncommon blooms have deservedly earned her a reputation as one of the best florists working today." AnOther Magazine
